Personal Coaching
Turn uncertainty into a plan -- with a real person, not just an algorithm.
Auriga’s guidance doesn’t stop at a report. Personal Coaching connects a student’s goal to the right human coach, a real conversation, and a concrete next step -- all feeding back into the same evolving profile as the rest of Auriga. Starting subject: Chemistry, Grades 6-12.
In design now -- not a live booking system in V1Where we're starting
Chemistry, Grades 6-12 -- built to grow, one subject at a time.
Personal Coaching opens with one subject, taught properly, rather than many subjects taught thinly. Chemistry for Grades 6-12 is the first real offering. The same underlying structure -- subject, grade range, coach, session -- is what lets Auriga add Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Computer Science as they're ready, without rebuilding this page or the product underneath it.
How it works
Goal → Guidance → Coach → Session → Action → Reflection → Progress
Not a generic script. Every conversation starts from what Auriga already knows about the student, and ends with something specific enough to actually do.
Goal
The student names what they’re actually trying to figure out -- not a career decision, usually something smaller and more honest.
Guidance
Auriga brings the student’s existing profile into the conversation, so the coach starts from real evidence, not a blank slate.
Coach
A student is matched with the right coach or counsellor for that goal -- a person, not an algorithm making the call alone.
Session
A real conversation, structured around the goal, not a generic script.
Action plan
The session ends with one or two concrete next steps -- specific enough to actually do.
Reflection
The student reflects on what happened, in their own words, once they’ve tried it.
Progress
What was learned feeds back into the student’s evolving profile -- the same loop as the rest of Auriga.
What a session could look like
A structured conversation, not a chatbot.
An illustrative example conversation — not a real student or coach.
I want to figure out whether research is actually right for me, not just something that sounds impressive.
Good place to start. Tell me about a time you got absorbed in a problem -- what were you actually doing?
I spent a whole weekend trying to figure out why a science-fair result didn’t match what I expected. Nobody made me do that.
That’s a real signal. Let’s turn it into something concrete -- a short research taster program, and a goal for what you want to learn from it.
Connected, not separate
Every coaching conversation becomes part of the same Auriga journey.
What a student learns in a coaching session -- a clarified goal, a new interest, a decision to try something -- updates the same evolving profile that powers Discover and Opportunities. Personal Coaching isn’t a separate product bolted on; it’s a human layer inside the one Auriga loop.
